July 11 A lateral promotionSo until today I had not heard of a lateral promotion. It was explained to me that it is equal to my current position but is a change of job duties. This is nice, I receive my same pay but have no staff to deal with, nor do I have to worry about meeting the expectations of the state. This takes a HUGE load off my shoulders too. I am going to be the accounting technician. I will have a lot of numbers to deal with, not my favorite thing but it will be a rather repitious job, well I will be learning a system and then using it with a variety of numbers and such. I am actually looking forward to this. I can actually get paid for the number of hours I put in and not necessarily be putting in WAY more hours than I am paid for.
I love my department but it was getting to be WAY too much for me and my stress levels were WAY too high too.
So wish me luck in this new area of my career. My Executive Director mentioned returning to school to me while talking to me about the position. I was part way through my degree in business management. Things are seeming to look soooo much brighter for us. I think the stars have finally positioned themselves to make positive things happen for us. WONDERFUL!!!!! July 05 Help the state of New Mexico pass a law against child abuse resulting in death.I don't know why I didn't think to put this here. This is a petition for someone I know who's daughter was killed. This is her beautiful picture and we are trying to pass a law here as her killer is out on bond and can only face 30 years for killing an innocent baby. Please anyone who reads this sign the petition, help put baby Taegen's killer away. This is an 18 year old who took the life of an innocent child who was loved by her parents and her life was taken in front of her 4yr old brother.

> June 10 What a reunion!I'm so happy! I got to spend the weekend with my son I haven't seen in four years! It was wonderful to see him. I have new pictures of him, it was wonderful to see him and to visit with my cousin's. We had fun and my grandmother loved every minute of watching ALL her grand children. She turned 93 Friday and has so many grandchildren and great grandchildren. It was wonderful to watch her just take everyone in.
My girls had a great time as well. They got to meet their brother that Adi hasn't seen since she was born, like she remembers, and Raidyn has never met.
So tomorrow is back to the reality's of life, doing laundry right now and getting the girls ready for bed, we had a loooong weekend.
Oh today is Adison's fourth birthday, yes she is finally four! May 28 ok so I had to do some more blog thingsSo I never thought I had a Hunter Soul. This is interesting and only partially true!

May 23 Don't always need oneWell sometimes there is really no need for a title, I despise the fact that you HAVE to enter one. Oh well....its all good I'll get over it.
Apartment inspections tomorrow, and they are going to spray for bugs which is good because I think the girls and I carried over some spiders in our move from the old house. That is a good thing about apartments, they spray once a month at no cost to me!
It's been thirteen years since I lived in an apartment and about seven since I've lived in town. The wonderful thing is we are three miles from school and twenty yards from work.
I work with adults with developmental disabilities and had the opportunity to meet a gentleman with another of our programs in another town here and am so determined to have something special done for him.
He uses a wheelchair for mobility and is totally into Harley's, I wanted to see if I could get someone to make his chair look more like a bike but not loose its purpose so I emailed Orange County Choppers and they told me that they specialized in custom bikes and could not do anything with a wheel chair. I was shocked and disappointed. If anyone out there reading this knows a way I can make this happen for this wonderful gentleman that touched my heart please let me know how.

A meeting was held quite far from Earth “It’s time again for another birth,” said the Angels to the Lord above. “This special child will need much love. Her progress may seem very slow, accomplishments she may not show, and she’ll require extra care from the folks she meets way down there.
Although she can run and laugh and play, her thoughts seem far away. In many ways she won’t adapt and she’ll be known as handicapped.
Please Lord find the people who will do this special job for you. They will not realize right away the leading role they’re asked to play. But with this child sent from above comes stronger faith and richer love, and soon they’ll know the privilege given in caring for this gift from Heaven.
Their precious charge so meek and mild is Heavens very special child. May 20 A good weekendWell yesterday morning Adi left with her grandparents so Raidyn and I went to my sisters. She played in the pool all day long and I got me some sun. A sunburn but not so bad I can't live with it. I went out with a friend last night too, we had fun.
Today was spent running around and doing laundry, now its grocery shopping time.
My computer is not use to being online, it is running a little crazy, I tried to post a blog yesterday and it wasn't going to let me.
Girls are already fighting so I better get them to stop and head out to get some groceries. May 18 Well I've returned under a different name...Well its me for those of you who knew me as bradsbaby1 or staying strong......I'm back and I mean I'm BACK! I'm a little rusty on the html and don't have all the things I use to in my computer to put on here BUT I have newer stuff. And besides this is a new space so it should reflect our lives now...not then. So hopefully I can find my old space friends, Robyn, Leah, especially. Had to change my everything so I am starting totally fresh. |
